The Position

RedMane is offering a full-time Business Analyst position to support their growing practice in Chicago. As a Business Analyst, you will collaborate with project teams to design and configure software solutions for clients in various sectors such as Health and Human Services, Utilities, Probation, Higher Education, and Healthcare. These solutions range from custom designs to integrated systems utilizing third-party software and leading-edge technologies like cloud-based mobility, data analytics, and artificial intelligence.
You will also be involved in planning and assessment engagements, working closely with clients to provide recommendations and roadmaps for their long-term strategies.
In this role, you will engage in Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions, gather requirements from clients, and assist in the development of functional designs and user interfaces.

Responsibilities of a Business Analyst include:

Plan and lead Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions
Elicit and document business and functional requirements
Design user interfaces for web and mobile applications
Create system interfaces for integrated solutions
Assist in the configuration of solutions on the SaaS platform
Support team members in design and testing
Assist clients during user acceptance testing
Provide status reporting and quality assurance

Skills & Role Requirements

Seeking individuals with aptitude, intelligence, and a passion for learning new technologies
Ability to lead design sessions with clients and manage high-pressure situations
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Experience in data analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning is a plus
Technical background is beneficial
