Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Manage the complete suite of People Tools (Application Designer, Data Mover, Change Assistant, PUM, etc.), PIA (PeopleSoft Internet Architecture), Weblogic, Tuxedo, Integration Broker (web services), programming or scripting languages.
  • Create/modify workflows for CAPI (Code migration tool), upgrades, configuration, and promoting the code from nonprod to production instances (source code deployment). Support major and minor releases.
  • Coordinate and support new Instance builds, refreshes, troubleshooting, performance tuning, Volume/Stress testing, and executing DR/BCP steps.
  • Maintain inhouse tools/utilities like data masking, base table compares, smart scheduler, and configuring SFTP servers.
  • Assist in deploying, configuring, customizing, and managing enterprise monitoring and automation tools.
  • Review and modify existing processes to ensure longterm operational stability and control.
  • Triage and debug production issues, analyze failure points, coordinate with the appropriate team for resolution, and ensure it will not happen again.
  • Provide quality feedback to architects and engineers to improve future designs and mentor other system administrators.

Education Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
  • Experience working directly with Cloud providers/infrastructure (Azure, Oracle, AWS etc.), database technologies (Oracle), PeopleSoft ERP's (People Tools, PIA, PUM, Data mover etc.,) operating systems (Windows/Linux), web/app tier (Apache, WebLogic, wildfly), SOA, middle ware (Tuxedo), automation tools (Chef, Puppet), DevOps tools (Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, etc.,), change management and scripting languages.
  • Basic software development exposure hands on with any programming or scripting language (preferably shell/perl/python or Java) is highly desirable
  • Good understanding of database technologies.

  • Experience working with globally distributed teams and across cultures.
  • Selfdriven. Should be able to operate with mínimal management supervision.
  • Mission critical systems experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience of delivering on commitments to clients.
  • Works well in fast paced growing environment.
  • Work independently and contribute to the immediate team and other teams across the business.
  • Training on ITIL is highly desirable
