THE OPPORTUNITY
Project Engineer/Lead Engineer will be responsible for design, data gathering, implementation, testing and handing over of Operations Management (DOS - Logbook, Deviations monitoring etc) projects for Refining, Oil and Gas, Mining & Chemical Industries.
Project Engineer should deliver project end to end from functional design to implementation and handling all dependencies and constraints.
Create Design documents
- FDS, DDS, test procedures and training manuals.
Collaborate with Project Lead to identify risk and opportunities in project.
Should be able to prepare and adhere to Engineering plan, contribute as a team.
Track and manage progress as per schedule. Report progress to all stakeholders on regular basis.
Plan the engineering activities and ensure progress as per plan.
Manage customer expectation and ensure delivery within budget and timelines.
Travel to site as and when needed, complete FAT, SAT, site handover and deliver the site activities in time.
Address customer issues on time by escalating to the right internal stakeholders
Follow the Company defined standard practices and methods
Create system architecture, data flow diagram and assess PSR for the project
Conceptualize, design, and develop operations management solutions that represents concepts into clear communications for key business stakeholders.
YOU MUST HAVE
4-8+ years' of experience in designing and implementing operations management solutions for Refining, Oil and Gas, Mining & Chemical Industries.
Excellent understanding and knowledge of the Unit operations and work processes in manufacturing industries.
Qualifications:
BE/B.Tech/M.Tech in Chemical Engineering.
Implementation experience of DOS or j5 Logbook
Able to build business workflow and demonstrate OPM value addition with TO-BE workflow.
Good understanding of Alarm systems and alarm configuration on DCS systems with experience in Alarm rationalization concepts
Good understanding of the industry standards like EEMUA/API/SHELLDEP etc.
Experience in Unit operations, workflow management for planning instructions & safety systems and critical operations monitoring with wide range of monitoring limits.
