The Cyber Security Governance & Assurance Professional supports the analysis, assessment, and deployment of security governance and assurance measures to remove cyber risk.

What you'll be doing

Participates within the Cyber Security Governance & Assurance team to identify potential threats by analysing security incidents and events.
Supports senior management in facilitating the effectiveness of the Information Security Risk Oversight Committee (ISROC) as the primary governance forum for overseeing the management of information security risk across the BT Group.
Supports risk-based reviews of key information security and technology processes and controls, ensuring that findings are appropriately risk assessed and management identify appropriate plans to mitigate the risk.
Supports the implementation of risk assessments for a range of systems, including interesting and bespoke systems.
Participates in the cyber security incident response team during high severity security incidents.
Supports the evaluation of cyber security controls to ensure effectiveness, compliance and adherence to key controls and policies and drive its remediation efforts.
Supports in the analysis of key GRC (governance, risk and compliance) risk information, including the cyber risk register, policy exceptions, audit findings and data security reviews and the preparation of reporting and dashboards as necessary to satisfy the Group's cyber reporting requirements at both a management and executive level.
Supports in the implementation of ways to improve working processes within Cyber Security Governance & Assurance.
