Quality Control Supervisor - Bawal, India - Johnson Matthey
Description
To Directly co- ordinate for QA activity from the shifts.
To manage equipment, materials and human resources for:
raw materials incoming inspection and release for start of production, intermediate products inspection and release for next production steps, final products inspection and release for the shipment to Customers.
To ensure that Quality standards and Customer delivery requirements are met with accordance to Quality Management System (QMS) based on Customer specific requirementsPRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- To lead Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) rules and practices to ensure the safety of self and others. To promote and encourage proactive approach in EHS culture within QA team, to provide feedback for all breaches of the EHS requirements.
- To set and to review the objectives to all QA reports as per JM HR policies (MATS performance plan) in accordance with JM career development policy.
- To develop QA team talents, to manage their personal development, performance, motivation and engagement. To make sure effective communication is in place and constructive feedback is used in terms of increasing QA employees' skills and competencies.
- To manage QA team training needs, the training matrix for QA processes and procedures.
- To establish and to follow QA group's KPIs for efficient monitoring of QA processes performance, for processes optimization and implementation of best practices.
- To ensure QA group providing their support in all system related activities like Product audit, LPA, DWM point closer, problemsolving activities related to line rejection and tethering quality issues.
- To ensure QA processes are developed according to Customer expectations and Quality/EHS standards and requirements, e.g. IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, VDA
- To Manage the lean related activities across the QA, along with cost saving projects and Mex target for the Quality function.
- To engage the QA team for internal and external (Customer and Certification bodies) audits to ensure there are adequate quality systems are in place. To lead the internal and external audits actions implementation for identified improvements and nonconformity findings.
- To participate in CFT meetings like PFMEA, control plan, Risk assessment development and provide the input from lab
- To identify the future QA capacity and capability requirements and providing justification for provision of resource to meet those requirements.
- To support in Managing Capex and Opex related support to function, specially wherever the shift level controls are required
- Should be Minimum B. Tech / B.E from Mechanical/chemical/Automobile stream

- Should Contain 67 years of working experience in the industry
