    Job Description

    • Should have at least 4–7 years of hands-on experience in functional, backend, and API testing.
    • Comprehensive experience in software test life cycle (STLC), testing, bug life cycle management, and hands-on agile development methodologies
    • Proven experience in functional testing of web-based or desktop applications is a must.
    • Knowledge in API testing (exposure to any tools like Postman, Soap UI, or Swager for REST API's testing) and API automation using Postman or any other automation tool.
    • Experience in understanding XML and REST services.
    • Should have good knowledge of understanding SQL queries and writing SQL queries as needed (exposure to any one backend tool like PL/SQL developer, Toad, SQL server, etc. is good).
    • Isolate, replicate, and report bugs, and verify bug fixes.
    • Identify any potential quality issues and immediately report them to the manager.
    • Implement test plans, test suites, and scripts; record actual results; and identify defects using any of the industry standard tools (Azure, ALM, or JIRA

    Good to have:

    • Good to have ISTQB certification.
