Head of MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) Contracting & Operations

Responsibilities:

Contracting and Vendor Management:


  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and partners to negotiate favorable terms and agreements for MICE events, including venues, accommodations, transportation, catering, and audiovisual services.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints and client expectations.
  • Monitor vendor performance and adherence to contractual obligations, resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise.

Event Planning and Execution:


  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of MICE events, including meetings, conferences, incentives, and exhibitions.
  • Develop comprehensive event plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with clients and stakeholders, ensuring that all logístical and operational aspects are addressed.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, logistics, and technical support, to deliver seamless and memorable event experiences.
  • Manage onsite event operations, including setup, registration, staffing, logistics, audiovisual production, and participant engagement.

Client Relationship Management:


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their objectives, requirements, and expectations for MICE events.
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships through regular communication, collaboration, and responsiveness to client needs and feedback.
  • Anticipate client preferences and proactively offer solutions and recommendations to enhance the value and impact of MICE events.

Team Leadership and Development:


  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of MICE professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration within the MICE team, promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for training and professional development.

Financial Management:


  • Manage budgetary allocations, expenditures, and revenue projections for MICE events, ensuring financial sustainability and profitability.
  • Monitor financial performance against established targets, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as needed to optimize financial outcomes.

Salary:
₹45, ₹100,000.00 per month
