Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and goal-oriented Area Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team in Chennai for a leading crowdfunding platform.

As the Area Sales and Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and increasing brand awareness within the Chennai area.

Your primary focus will be on acquiring new project creators and attracting backers to the crowdfunding platform.

This role requires a strong understanding of the local market, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in sales and marketing.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a strategic sales and marketing plan for the Chennai area to drive user acquisition, increase project submissions, and attract backers to the crowdfunding platform.

Identify and prospect potential project creators, including entrepreneurs, startups, and innovators, and educate them about the benefits of using the crowdfunding platform to bring their ideas to life.

Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community influencers to generate referrals and partnerships that contribute to the growth of the platform.

Collaborate with the marketing team to create localized marketing materials, including digital campaigns, social media content, and offline advertising, to generate awareness and interest in the platform within the Chennai market.

Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions for potential project creators, guiding them through the crowdfunding process and showcasing the platform's features and benefits.

Track sales activities, analyze data, and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of sales and marketing strategies, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the crowdfunding industry, as well as the local market dynamics, to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

Represent the company at local industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the crowdfunding platform and build relationships with key stakeholders in the Chennai area.

equirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications or equivalent experience will also be considered.

Proven track record in sales and marketing, preferably within the technology or crowdfunding industry.

Strong understanding of the local Chennai market, including key industries, influencers, and potential project creators.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively articulate ideas and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Ability to work independently, set priorities, and manage time effectively to achieve sales targets and meet deadlines.

Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for achieving sales goals and contributing to the growth of the platform.

Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade potential clients.

Willingness to travel within the Chennai area as required to meet with potential clients and attend industry events.


Salary:
From ₹35,000.00 per month
