  • We, at Enterprise IT Security, are on a mission to secure the IT journey for the Volvo Group. We work closely together with stakeholders across several Business Areas (BAs), Truck Divisions (TDs), and Group Functions (GFs). While the BAs are responsible for driving the business, the TDs provide research, development, purchasing, manufacturing, and assembly. Within Volvo Group, the GFs own the Group agenda, provide strategic direction, and have global responsibility in groupwide functions such as IT, legal, compliance and security.
  • With Enterprise IT Security, you will be part of Group Digital & IT (Group Function). A global and diverse team of highly skilled professionals who work with passion, trust each other, and embrace change to stay ahead. Enterprise IT Security (EITS) works in close collaboration with both Group Security function and security functions within TD's, BAs and GFs. Together we work to build a security posture that is best in class.
    Job Summary

The Cyber analytics expert will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of analytics capabilities within the Cyber Defense Center (CDC).

This position will be responsible for creating and visualizing security-related metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to internal stakeholders, as well as stakeholders within the Volvo Group.

The Cyber analytics expert requires close collaboration with external partners and stakeholders, together with the CDC Management Team, to ensure analytics development is aligned with business objectives and cybersecurity targets.


The CDC unit currently consists of five teams:
Security Operations, CDC Engineering, Threat Hunting, Forensics and Investigations, Analytics & Reporting.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement cyber analytics processes to enable our current and future business
  • Responsible for creating, maintaining and developing securityrelated metrics and KPIs and enabling stakeholder reporting
  • Collaborate with the CDC management team and external partners to ensure that analytics development is aligned with our broader cybersecurity goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and other visualisations to help stakeholders interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Continuously monitor and analyse data to identify trends and patterns that can inform cybersecurity strategy and operations.
  • Collaborate with other teams, such as threat intelligence and digital forensics and investigations, to integrate data from multiple sources and provide a comprehensive view of the organization's cybersecurity posture.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, such as vendors and industry organizations, to support the organization's analytics and reporting activities.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in analytics and reporting, with a focus on cybersecurity or information technology.
  • Strong knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools and technologies, such as Tableau, Power BI, and SQL.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing analytics and reporting processes.
  • Experience of identifying patterns and trends in security data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to identify, resolve and communicate complex technical issues.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • Experience with data governance and compliance, including relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.

The job location is in either Gothenburg - Sweden, Bangalore - India, Greensboro - US or Wroclaw - Poland and you are expected to work some days at the office.
