Placement Coordinator:


General Purpose:


Key Job Tasks and Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners to secure internship and job placements for students
  • Identify new placement opportunities and proactively reach out to potential partners
  • Coordinate and facilitate events such as networking opportunities and information sessions
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as curriculum and student services, to ensure alignment with program goals and objectives
  • Keep accurate records and track student placement data
  • Continuously assess and improve the placement process to ensure the best outcomes for students
  • Act as a liaison between students, industry partners, and the company to ensure smooth communication and resolve any issues that may arise.

Requirements:


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Career Development, Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field
  • Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in placement coordination, internship management, or a related field
  • Experience working in a startup or fastpaced environment is a plus
  • Experience in project management, relationship building, and communication
  • Experience in education or career development is preferred
  • Understanding of the job market trends and the skills and qualifications that employers are looking for
  • Strong understanding of the recruitment process and experience in working with recruiters and hiring managers
  • Ability to work independently and think creatively to solve problems.

  • Knowledge of MS Office / Google Drive (Docs), Internet Browsing, Social Networks, Webbased tools, etc...
  • Strong research and brainstorming skills are required to produce highly creative and unique content
  • Must have a natural flair for writing & be able to deliver content that perfectly works for the Web
  • Write exceptional content, original, grammaticalerrorfree, technically/conceptually authentic
  • A strong presence on social media and Experience with social media properties
  • Baselevel understanding of search engine optimization and keyword usage
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines

  • Good written and oral communication proficiency in English
  • Should be conversant in your regional language and Hindi would be added advantage
