Position Overview:
As a Sales Officer (S.O) specializing in General Trade within the FMCG industry, you will play a vital role in expanding our market presence and driving sales for D.K Industries.
Your responsibilities include managing relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers in the General Trade and Semi-Modern Trade segments.Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets within the General Trade and Semi-Modern Trade markets.
Execute promotional activities and marketing campaigns to drive product awareness and sales.
Distribution Network Management:
Identify, onboard, and manage distributors, wholesalers, and retailers in the assigned territory.
Ensure optimal product distribution, availability, and visibility in retail outlets.
Relationship Building:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners.
Collaborate with channel partners to maximize sales opportunities.
Market Analysis:
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to adapt sales strategies.
Provide insights and recommendations to enhance product competitiveness and market share.
Order Fulfillment:
Coordinate with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely order processing and delivery.
Address any issues related to order fulfillment and inventory management.
Merchandising and Visibility:
Work closely with retailers to optimize product placement and visibility in stores.
Implement merchandising initiatives to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
Sales Reporting and Analysis:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, orders, and market feedback.
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and analysis for management review.
Customer Service:
Address customer inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales within the FMCG industry, with a focus on General Trade.
- Strong understanding of distribution networks, retail dynamics, and market trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Resultsdriven with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Proficient in using sales management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Salary:
₹9, ₹25,000.00 per month
