Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote the holistic development of young children, including language and literacy skills, numeracy concepts, creative expression, physical development, and socialemotional skills.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment where children feel valued, respected, and supported in their learning journey.
- Engage children in handson learning experiences, playbased activities, and inquirybased projects that encourage curiosity, exploration, and problemsolving skills.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues, maintaining open communication and collaboration to support children's individual needs and interests.
- Observe and assess children's progress and development, using formal and informal assessment tools to monitor their growth, identify areas for improvement, and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Provide differentiated instruction and support for children with diverse learning needs, including English language learners, children with disabilities, and those who require additional academic or behavioral support.
- Promote positive behavior management strategies, conflict resolution skills, and socialemotional learning techniques to help children develop selfregulation, empathy, and cooperation.
- Incorporate ageappropriate technology tools, educational resources, and learning materials into classroom activities to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
- Collaborate with other preprimary teachers, school administrators, and support staff to plan and coordinate schoolwide events, parent workshops, and professional development opportunities.
- Participate in parentteacher conferences, team meetings, and staff training sessions to share information about children's progress, discuss strategies for supporting student success, and contribute to the overall improvement of the preprimary program.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Valid teaching certification/license for preprimary education or early childhood education, issued by the appropriate state or national education agency.
- Previous experience working with young children in a preprimary, preschool, or early childhood education setting, demonstrating a strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate teaching strategies, playbased learning approaches, and early literacy and numeracy curriculum frameworks, such as the Creative Curriculum, Reggio Emilia approach, or Montessori method.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues and effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children, coupled with a commitment to promoting their wellbeing, growth, and learning.
- Strong organizational skills, time management abilities, and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks effectively in a fastpaced educational environment.
Pay:
₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
