This position as a Supply Chain Architect embedded with the project teams to develop activities for Ecolab's diverse business units.

The Lead will work with the Supply Chain Product owners and the Development teams to deliver digital products that are "fit for purpose" and "fit for use" leveraging proven and repeatable architecture/ design patterns to optimize speed-to-value and costs.

The person selected for this role will work with Senior Stakeholders, Principal architects, and delivery teams on multiple projects in support for defining architectures and represent those architectures within the development teams.


Education/Work Experience Requirement:


  • Required 12+ years of IT experience and have implemented end to end Supply Chain solutions.
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience with Supply Chain technologies such as ERP, Transportation Management, Warehouse Management, Advanced Planning Systems, Procurement, Manufacturing Execution

Required Role specific experience:


  • Facilitate the translation of highlevel business requirements into detailed functional requirements, assist with system design and work closely with IT to arrive at efficient technology solution.
  • Manage all aspects of an assignments through different phases of the software development life cycle: feasibility study, business requirement, planning, system design, highlevel design architecture and support till low level design & supporting in implementation phase by coordinating with delivery teams.
  • Conduct analysis to determine the best path for solving business problems/opportunities through process improvement, systems enhancement, and/or selection of software like Offtheshelf/COTS tools and Security reviews.
  • Lead Supply Chain (Planning, Transportation, Logistics or Warehouse Management) value assessments for stakeholder requirements, benchmarking supply chain performance and providing strategic advisory services.
  • Being a solution advisor and establishing stakeholder relations is vital for this role. Having a leadership mindset with strong attention to detail in business process improvements with technology expertise and the ability to see and communicate the big picture.
  • Solving complex Supply Chain (Planning, Transportation, Logistics or Warehouse Management) challenges responsible for architecting the overall process design using proven technical & business process, and principles
  • Leading process design and implementation aspect of engagements ensuring high quality, integrated business, and software solutions within constraints of time and budget.
  • Demonstrating leadership in transforming stakeholder business processes leveraging digital and cloud technologies while navigating change management issues to implement cutting ERP solutions.
  • Able to work effectively with the delivery, functional and vendor teams, where necessary, to deliver successful solutions for stakeholders.
  • Adopting a continuous improvement culture, enhancing/developing innovative ideas and is an active thought leader contributing to the Organization and having an excellent communication and presentation skills.

Mandatory Skills and Requirements:


  • Able to provide reference architecture and coordinating with various Architecture groups (Security/Infrastructure/Integration/ Networking) and align on solution approach.
  • Advocate and drive adoption of standard methodologies to ensure consistency of solution architecture across the organization.
  • Build architecture roadmaps and or/transitional architecture.
  • Analyze data driven insights and operational data to showcase value and identify additional opportunities for improvement.
  • Team player, willing to take ownership & ability to manage expectations.
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and with general guidance to develop solutions.
  • Collaborate with business to gather and define business requirements.

SCM - Transportation Management (SAP TM/ Blue Yonder), Advanced Planning Systems (O9/ Kinaxis), Warehouse Management (Korber/ SAP WM/EWM), Procurement (SAP BTP/ Others), Manufacturing Execution Systems

  • Must have strong integration experience in connecting to third party systems, legacy and CRM platforms is expected.

Desired Experience

  • Transportation and planning or Transportation and warehouse management architect experience is preferred.
  • SAP ERP will be main preference and Oracle ERP experience is optional.
  • Transportation or warehouse management 2 or 3 of the functional skillsets
