Key responsibilities include:

  • The role of Enterprise Architect is critical role responsible for helping map existing digital and business process, identifying necessary process changes, developing technology roadmaps, and acting as a critical resource to help lead Pratt's digital journey.
  • This role will assist with defining best practices for use of the EA global tool (Bizzdesign), populate the tool with content, maintain the tool with its connected artifacts, configure the tool to do analysis and provide reports to support EA and DT activities.
  • This role will also assist in the development of integrated models of business capabilities, business processes, apps landscapes and technologies; mapping them using our EA tool.
  • Partner extensively with all parts of the Pratt & Whitney to ensure implementation of enterprise solutions and standards defined by the EA organization.
  • Act as a thought leader, operating across various Technical Platform Areas and provide guidance on a global scale regarding Industry Best Practices for Operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in process mapping, rearchitecting, and optimization for digital transformation of major industrial, manufacturing, or A&D organization.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in Information Technology that includes acting as a senior solution architect and/or enterprise architect, and leading large scale technology implementations.
  • 4+ years as an enterprise level business/process/technology architect.
  • Past experience working with EA modeling tools and languages, Bizzdesign preferred but not required.
  • Past experience developing technology standards and governance.
  • Experience with modern architecture frameworks and designs that support successful digital technology insertion.
  • Ability to provide strategic technical leadership and lead by influence the creation of longterm strategy (e.g., more than 3 years) roadmaps in a virtual environment.
  • Ability to build strong relationships to leverage information and insights across key groups.
  • Selfstarter with selfconfidence, enthusiasm, and strong customer service orientation.
