Job Summary:


Responsibilities:

Create high-quality 2D artwork for use in games, including characters, environments, backgrounds, and UI elements.

Conceptualise and iterate on art designs based on feedback from the team and playtesting.

Create art assets that are optimised for performance on a variety of platforms and devices.

Ensure that art assets are consistent with the game's visual style and contribute to a cohesive overall experience.

Stay up-to-date with trends and best practices in 2D game art and incorporate them into your work.


Requirements:

Strong portfolio of 2D artwork that demonstrates a range of styles and techniques.

Proficiency in industry-standard 2D art tools such as Adobe Photoshop.

Experience with game development engines such as Unity.

Understanding of game design principles and the ability to create art that supports gameplay and user experience.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.


Bonus Skills:

Experience with 3D art tools such as Blender or Maya.

Familiarity with animation principles and techniques.

Experience with mobile game development.

Experience with game UI design.
