Overview:

Responsibilities:


  • Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans for History, Civics, and Geography classes in alignment with the CBSE curriculum.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technologies to engage students and enhance learning outcomes.
  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation, collaboration, and critical inquiry.
  • Incorporate current events, case studies, and realworld examples to make lessons relevant and meaningful to students.
  • Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and provide timely feedback.
  • Integrate interdisciplinary connections between History, Civics, and Geography to promote a holistic understanding of social studies concepts.
  • Encourage students to develop analytical thinking skills, research abilities, and effective communication skills through projects, debates, and presentations.
  • Stay informed about developments in the fields of History, Civics, and Geography and incorporate relevant updates into curriculum planning and instruction.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues to support student learning and achievement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Indepth knowledge of the CBSE curriculum for History, Civics, and Geography at the secondary level.
  • Passion for teaching social studies and helping students develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in social studies education.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive school culture.

Salary:
₹120, ₹140,000.00 per year
