    Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Python/Golang.

    We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will possess strong programming skills with expertise in Python, Golang, or both.

    This role is pivotal in ensuring the high availability, performance, and security of our services, which are hosted on Kubernetes and Virtual Private Servers (VPS).


    Key Responsibilities :

    System Reliability and Automation : Develop, maintain, and scale our infrastructure with a focus on automation and the minimization of downtime.


    Scripting and Tooling :

    Write custom scripts in Python and/or Golang to automate routine operations tasks, enhance monitoring, and manage our server infrastructure efficiently.


    Monitoring and Performance Tuning :
    Implement comprehensive monitoring solutions to detect and mitigate issues proactively. Optimize system performance for a seamless user experience.

    Incident Management :

    Respond to, investigate, and resolve service outages or performance issues, documenting incidents and learning from them to prevent future occurrences.


    Collaboration and Innovation :
    Work closely with the development teams to ensure system reliability and performance. Contribute to the design of new features with reliability and scalability in mind.

    Infrastructure Management :

    Manage and orchestrate containers using Kubernetes, ensuring seamless deployment, scaling, and management of application containers across clusters of hosts.


    Security :
    Implement and maintain security measures to protect data and infrastructure from cyber threats.

    Years of Experience : 4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering and related roles.


    Qualifications :

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
    • Strong programming skills in Python and/or Golang, with a portfolio of projects or contributions to show for it.
    • Proven experience with Kubernetes and managing Virtual Private Servers (VPS).
    • Knowledge of system monitoring tools and experience with logging and monitoring systems.
    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g. Git).
    • Experience with network systems, protocols, and standards.
    • Excellent problemsolving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
