    Description

    Role: TechnologistSustainability

    JobDescription:

    • Assist thesustainability lead to assess various plastic recyclingtechnologies Identify understand and evaluate plastic recyclingtechnologies.
    • To Identify opportunities invarious biopolymer product/technology and biocomposites.
    • Assessment of various technologyfor sorting / segregation and cleaning of waste plastic formechanical recycling
    • Support for preparationof overview/prefeed documents for new projects
    • Validate equipment data sheets prepared by consultant/engineering contractor for various projects.
    • Execute process design calculations for the variousschemes.
    • Assist to develop process designpackage using appropriate tools.
    • Identifyopportunities for product quality enhancement/ productupgradation.
    • Participate in pilot / commercialplant trials.
    • Understand and evaluate basicengineering design documents.
    • Validatemodifications to ensure specified standards and codes are followedin calculations.
    • Participate in PHA/ HAZOP ofnew projects/ modifications.
    • Contribute toderive value from technology network.
    • Understand and be abreast with legislation/ regulation asand when mandated by CPCB/ MoEF GoI.

    Skills and Competencies

    • Sound knowledge regarding polymerizationprocess and technology.
    • Knowledge on polymerproduct processing and applications.
    • Experience in polymer plant operation / technical servicedomain
    • Analytical ability for problemsolving.
    • Good communication and writingskills.
    • Knowledge of chemical engineering andprocess technology
    • Ability to plan / discussresults and network under the guidance of seniorcolleagues.
    • Process design calculations atSkill level
    • Use of process calculationtemplates at Skill level
    • Process simulationskills
    • Use of Six sigma for problemsolving
    • Leadership quality with managementskills
    • Result Orientation

    Education Required

    BE/B Tech in Chemical Engineering from a reputedinstitute

    MBA will be added advantage.

    Experience Required

    3 to 4 years ofexperience with at least 2 years in plant Operations /CTS
