The Front Desk Executive at our startup hotel in the Indian market plays a critical role in shaping the initial impression of our property.

As the first point of contact for guests, this position demands a warm and welcoming demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to efficiently manage various administrative tasks.

The Front Desk Executive is responsible for ensuring a positive guest experience, offering exceptional customer service, and contributing to the success of our hotel.


Key Responsibilities:

Guest Reception:
Welcome guests warmly and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Assist guests with payments, room allocation, and maintaining accurate guest records.


Reservation Management:
Handle room reservations, ensuring accuracy in room assignments and pricing.

Respond to inquiries and provide information about room availability, rates, and hotel amenities.


Customer Service:
Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.

Strive to exceed guest expectations by offering assistance and personalized service.


Communication:
Relay messages, calls, and information to the appropriate hotel departments and team members.


Administrative Tasks:
Maintain an organized front desk area and ensure necessary supplies are readily available.

Perform daily reports, cash handling, and end-of-shift accounting accurately.


Safety and Security:
Uphold the security and confidentiality of guest information and belongings.

Monitor and maintain hotel entrance security.


Concierge Services:
Offer information and recommendations regarding local attractions, dining, transportation, and services.

Arrange transportation and reservations as per guest requests.


Emergency Response:
Familiarize yourself with emergency procedures and act promptly in emergency situations.


Training and Development:
Stay updated about hotel services, promotions, and local events.

Continuously improve personal and team performance through ongoing training and development.


Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management or a related field is a plus.

Previous experience in a similar front desk or customer service role, particularly in the Indian hospitality industry.

Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with fluency in English and additional regional languages preferred.

Problem-solving skills with a positive attitude and the ability to handle stressful situations.

A professional appearance and demeanor that reflects the brand image.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.


Salary:
₹15, ₹30,000.00 per month
