The Customer Remediation Business Control Analyst is a developing professional role. This role identifies policy and applies specialty knowledge in control and assessing processes and data. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area (Customer Remediation) with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards.

Must be able to exchange information in a concise and logical way as well as be sensitive to audience diversity.

Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team.


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for supporting teams with compliance and control; partners with operations, risk, compliance, legal and other entities to ensure accuracy and validity of published procedures.
  • Documents policy and procedure within regulatory requirements in addition to Information Security policies and procedures.
  • Works with businesses to coordinate deliverables required for internal and external audits.
  • Updates project tasks regularly and accurately
  • Prioritizes and completes deliverables timely
  • Facilitates conference calls

Quality Check Remediation analysis: Quality check and perform validation of the execution of the comprehensive data remediation approach on Customer issues due to gaps observed in policies and governance, Self-identified, or through Internal Audit or Compliance reviews.

Quality check Impact assessment: Quality check and perform validation of identification of size of the customers and the dollar amount impacted due to these issues.

Sampling Framework Development: development and tracking of a sustainable sampling framework of executed remediations

  • Data dictionaries, reusable components
  • Ability to build connections, promote ideas and work collaboratively across all levels of seniority and across boundaries
  • Well organized with excellent time management skills
  • Selfmotivated, focused, detailed oriented and able to work efficiently to deadlines are essential
  • Lateral thinker, with ability to manage change and analytical ability to recognize areas of improvement
  • Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy
  • Confident, articulate and have a high degree of personal integrity
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Batch Doc Exporter and SharePoint

  • Detailed review of remediation inputs and outputs
  • Identify thematic problems across multiple projects
  • Initiatives for Process Standardization and efficiency and automations
  • Timeliness of Delivery


  • Documentation

  • Templates, Best Practices, Procedures etc.
  • Reduce Number of reworks and QA issues identified

Skills:


  • Must be detail oriented and ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Batch Doc Exporter and SharePoint

  • Bachelor's / University degree
