AutoCAD Designer for Events

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and creative AutoCAD Designer specializing in events to join our team. As an AutoCAD Designer, you will be responsible for creating detailed event designs and layouts using computer-aided design software.

Your expertise will contribute to the planning and execution of various events, such as conferences, exhibitions, trade shows, and corporate gatherings and Music festival.

This role requires a strong understanding of event design principles, excellent technical skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

Develop event design concepts and create detailed event layouts using AutoCAD, vector ,sketchup software, considering factors such as space utilization, traffic flow, and aesthetic appeal.

Collaborate with event planners, clients, and stakeholders to understand their requirements, objectives, and expectations for the event design.

Translate conceptual ideas into accurate 2D and 3D event renderings, incorporating branding elements, furniture, fixtures, lighting, audiovisual equipment, and other necessary elements.

Ensure that event designs comply with local regulations, safety standards, and venue restrictions.

Assist in the selection and sourcing of event materials, props, and decor, providing input on their suitability and feasibility for the design.

Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for event installations, including stage setups, booth constructions, and temporary structures.

Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and emerging event design concepts, incorporating innovative ideas into the designs when appropriate.

Attend site visits and meetings to assess venue spaces, take measurements, and gather relevant information for accurate design implementation.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met effectively.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an AutoCAD Designer or similar role, preferably with a focus on event design or exhibition design.

Proficient in using AutoCAD software, with a strong understanding of 2D and 3D design principles.

Knowledge of event design concepts, spatial planning, and traffic flow management.

Strong attention to detail and ability to create accurate, scaled drawings.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, and vendors.

Familiarity with event production processes, including equipment setup, rigging, and audiovisual systems.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced event environment.

Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to provide innovative solutions while considering practical constraints.

Knowledge of construction materials, event decor, and temporary structures is desirable.

A portfolio demonstrating previous event design work will be an advantage.
