Position Title Executive Production

Division / Dept Manufacturing /Production

JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible for Production activities in a single shift & ensure planned output / KPI's
are met on daily basis, also responsible to improve people productively, throughput & quality output of PTV unit.

a. Production Workers no's (Approx) b. Machine Operators - 2 no's

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILIITES:


Delivery:

To manage a single shift Responsibilities of packing activities & ensure planned output / KPI

  • Tons of Delivery per day.


Responsible for packing of finished products as per daily planned targets & ensure its readiness for despatch according to schedules.

Timely despatch of finished goods considering zero customer complaints.

Responsible for monitoring the efficiency of machines like PFS, FFS, bulk packing machines etc.
& ensure maximum utilization of machines & manpower with proper planning without affecting quality of product.

Plan schedules for re-work process & ensure it is completed within the specific & agreed time periods.

Should meet the targets laid for production from PFS, FFS, Bulk packing lines.

Quality:

Ensure output quality from roaster machines meets all quality parameters for final packing.

Control wastages of pouches, carton boxes, spillage of products that arise mainly due to machine complaint & manhandling.

Ensure proper print of batch no's, codes etc. on the pouches, boxes etc. thus meeting customer
& quality specifications.

Ensure the packed products weight, sealing integrity, proper gases etc. & other contents in pouches & cartons are meeting quality standards.

Ensure & produce good quality product as per company quality standards - without internal & external quality rejections.


Liaise with quality team & address immediately to any deviation noticed & bring out corrective measures to overcome the issues in future.


Safety:

Promote personal hygiene of workers as well as in shop floors. Timely co-ordination with housekeeping person for maintaining hygiene level in the shop floor.


People Management:

Ensure manpower availability as per production plan to meet the KPI of delivery per day.

Proper allocation of task to workers & ensure targets are achieved as set on hourly basis without overtime cost.

Manage manpower resource effectively to support customer delivery requirements and also lean manufacturing principles.

Manage time & attendance within company procedures.

Motivate & coach the team to operational success.

Work positively with support functions to fully define the processes/procedures / controls relevant to team activities. Provide support and input to continuous improvement activities within the team.


General & Task Management:


Liaise & co-ordinate with support functions to progress issues concerning production planning and resources/skill allocation to ensure delivery of products to schedule within all relevant quality specifications.

Ensure production reports/log sheets are maintained on daily basis.

Ensure ERP entries are done on daily basis.

Report & act upon plant or machinery breakdowns to maintenance technicians & production in charges on timely basis.


Take care of space management in shop floor, ensure proper stacking of FG, trays, pallets etc, remove unwanted materials & create sufficient space for man & material movement to avoid unforeseen accidents.

Ensure pre-operative checks of machineries in co-ordination with the maintenance team for smooth functioning of production process.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Complete tasks as per allocated completion date.

Take responsibility for voicing and acting on issues and concerns

Provide on-the-job coaching and mentoring to direct reports.

Should be good at People Management Skills.

Strong presentation & communication - verbal & written.

Strong planning & organizing skills.

Strong team leadership skills to lead, motivate, coach and manage a team.

Strong interpersonal skills to work with internal teams and external suppliers and customers.


Ability to convey information clearly & concisely to groups or individuals either verbally or in writing to ensure that they understand the information and message.

₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month

  • Kollam, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
