    Description

    Job Title: Purchase Assistant

    Department: Purchase

    Location: Science City, Ahmedabad

    Job Type: Full-Time

    Experience: 1-3 Years

    Salary Range: 2,50,000 – 3,50,000 Annually

    Responsibilities:

    1. Assist in the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations, and negotiating prices to ensure cost-effectiveness.

    2. Generate and process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.

    3. Maintain updated records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.

    4. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials and resolve any delivery issues or discrepancies.

    5. Handle packaging artwork requirements alongside purchase duties, ensuring compliance regulatory requirements.

    6. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and provide necessary support and follow-ups.

    7. Monitor and track inventory levels to prevent stockouts and optimize inventory turnover.

    8. Assist in evaluating supplier performance and maintaining good relationships with key suppliers.

    9. Support in the development and implementation of purchasing strategies to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

    10.Provide administrative support to the purchase department as needed.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

    2. Proven experience of 1-3 years in a similar role.

    3. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.

    4. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

    5. Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.

    6. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills.

    7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

    8. Knowledge of packaging artwork requirements and processes is a plus.

    9. Familiarity with inventory management software is desirable.
