Overview:
As a Sales Officer for FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) products, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong relationships with retailers, and ensuring the effective distribution of our products within your assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:

Sales Generation:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by effectively promoting and selling FMCG products to retailers and distributors.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand market share and increase revenue.
- Identify new business opportunities and channels to drive sales growth.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential retailers, wholesalers, and distributors.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring timely delivery of products.
- Conduct regular visits to customers to understand their needs, gather feedback, and provide product support.
Distribution Management:
- Ensure optimal product distribution by monitoring stock levels, replenishing inventory, and managing product displays.
- Coordinate with logistics and distribution teams to ensure timely delivery and availability of products in the market.
- Implement effective merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and drive sales.
Market Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to track progress towards targets and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and recommendations to management.
Product Promotion and Marketing:
- Plan and execute promotional activities, events, and campaigns to increase brand awareness and stimulate demand.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop marketing materials, POS displays, and promotional tools.
- Train retail staff on product features, benefits, and selling techniques to drive product adoption and sales.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience in FMCG sales, preferably within the food, beverage, or consumer goods industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
