Job Title:
Commis Chef


Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes according to recipes and standards.
  • Clean and prepare ingredients for daily use, including washing, peeling, and chopping.
  • Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the quality and safety of food products.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
  • Support the Chef de Partie and other senior chefs in daily kitchen operations.
  • Learn and develop culinary skills under the guidance of experienced kitchen staff.
  • Execute tasks efficiently and accurately to meet service deadlines and maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure efficient communication and teamwork.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene.
  • Willingness to learn and develop culinary skills under the guidance of senior chefs.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hiring.

Salary:
From ₹10,000.00 per month
