Job Overview:As a PCB Designer specializing in electronics components, you will play a crucial role in designing and optimizing printed circuit boards (PCBs) for various electronic products.

Your expertise in component selection, footprint creation, and layout design will ensure the smooth integration and performance of electronic components in our products.

Responsibilities:

Component Selection: Work closely with hardware design engineers and electronic engineers to identify suitable electronic components for specific product requirements. Select components based on functionality, performance, availability, and cost considerations.
Footprint Creation: Create accurate and standardized footprints (land patterns) for electronic components using industrystandard PCB design software. Ensure that the footprints comply with IPC (Institute for Printed Circuits) standards and manufacturing guidelines.

Layout Design:

Design and optimize PCB layouts, considering factors such as signal integrity, thermal management, electromagnetic interference (EMI), and design for manufacturability (DFM).

Collaborate with the hardware design team to ensure optimal component placement and signal routing.

Library Management: Maintain and update component libraries, including schematic symbols, footprints, and 3D models. Verify the accuracy and consistency of component data within the library.
Design Validation: Conduct design rule checks (DRC) and electrical rule checks (ERC) to ensure the integrity of the PCB layout. Perform simulations and analysis to verify signal integrity and impedance control.
Collaboration: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including hardware design engineers, mechanical designers, and manufacturing engineers, to ensure seamless integration of electronics components into the final product.
Prototyping Support: Provide support during PCB prototyping and testing phases. Assist in debugging and troubleshooting PCBrelated issues to achieve successful product validation.
Continuous Improvement: Stay uptodate with the latest PCB design techniques, software tools, and industry trends. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance design processes and contribute to the overall improvement of the PCB design team.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a PCB Designer with a focus on electronics components.
Strong knowledge on PCB routing upto 4 layers
Knowledge on Analog and RF signal routing
Familiarity with IPC standards, component datasheets, and industry best practices for PCB layout.
Understanding of signal integrity, power delivery, and thermal management in PCB design.
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
Experience with component library management and database tools is a plus.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with varying complexities
