Design Engineer, 2 to 5 Years, Pune
**- Chassis and powertrain systems selection and integration as per vehicle level targets.

  • Systems packaging, detailed design and drawing release.
  • Good understanding of vehicle control systems.
  • Basic understanding of materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Support in creating Source package and VBOM.
  • Design release of proprietary and BTP parts as per customer's design release process.
  • Knowledge of DFMEA, DFM, DFA, DFS
  • Knowledge of Tolerance Stack & FITs
  • Exposure to Benchmarking, prototype development and vehicle build will be an added advantage.

CAD Skills:


  • Strong 2D and 3D CAD skills in UG Nx and Catia V5/V6 (Parametric Modelling)
  • Good Knowledge in Topdown & Bottomup Assembly, Skeleton Modelling, Drafting, Sheet metal, etc.
  • Good knowledge of creating BOM Structure in CAD. Strong working knowledge of PLM/Teamcenter/SAP
  • Prepare 3D/2D Assembly, installation drawings and Subassemblies.
  • Very good understanding of GD&T and part tolerancing as per ASME.

Educational Qualification:

BE / B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering)


Skills:

UG Nx and Catia V5/V6, PLM/Teamcenter/SAP, GD&T
