We have three programs, "EL Create" (music), "EL Play" (football) and "EL Build" (Lego). They are designed to equip children from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds with critical life skills to become "leaders".

About the Role of Teaching & Coaching Apprentice The Teaching & Coaching Apprenticeship is a paid 10-month full-time training program that combines training, professional development, field experience and opportunity for self development.
It is open for youth interested in using football, music and Lego to teach children leadership skills. As an apprentice, you will participate in face-to-face and online training workshops, self-learning modules and assessments. You will be assigned to two or three student batches in one of our programs.Once you have undergone the basic training, you will be required to assist the assigned teacher or coach as part of your practical training.
These sessions are experiential in nature - with a lot of emphasis on active, challenge based and student-centric learning.
The Apprentice will also get experience of setting up the events, conducting student assessments, using digital tools, conducting community research and stakeholder management.
The Teaching & Coaching Apprentice will report to the City Lead. S/he will be guided and mentored by the Program Manager through the year.
Apprentice Responsibilities
- Learning & Training ResponsibilitiesAttends all training and development sessions, whether inperson or online.
Completes all Apprentice Assessments within a specified time period.
Attends all 1-1 mentoring sessionsTeaching/Coaching ResponsibilitiesCoordinates with the assigned Program Associate to plan for sessions in advanceAttends and assists the assigned teacher in 20-25 sessions for the assigned batches so that each session achieves well-defined goals and objectives.
Maintains cordial relationship with students, school staff & parentsGeneral ResponsibilitiesJoins the assigned teacher or other city staff during meetings with the school principal/teacherProvides student stories and session updates upon requestSupports operational activities like updating student list, attendance, distribution of program materials, etc.
Attends the parent orientation sessions at the school. Splits the workload of 1-1 interaction with parents.Supports the Operations Manager during events and Leagues, as required

ENABLING LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION
- Must have completed high school from a government school or lowincome private schools
- Must have completed 10+2 or Graduate/Diploma holder
- Must commit to the Apprenticeship program full time
- Should have some basic knowledge, skills and/or experience in one of the following areas: football or other sports, music or Arts/design/engineering/DoitYourself activities
- An interest in working with children will be an advantage
Salary:
₹15,000.00 per month
