Compliance Coordinator

Job Summary/Objective


Working as part of the internal global compliance team, the compliance coordinator will perform routine operations around policy exception requests, supplier management and first pass analysis on any client audit requests.

The role will also include provide support and assistance to the Audit Manager in performing some internal audits on other staff members.

Key Responsibilities & Duties (essential to the job)

Coordinate in a timely manner key operations required to maintain a healthy International Organization for Standardization, or ISO, management system, including, but not limited to:

  • Client led questionnaire
  • Answer generic ISO standard sections
  • Liaise with other functions in the business to completion.
  • Routine Operations
  • Support procurement team with supplier onboarding questionnaire reviews.
  • Maintain the supplier annual review process with supplier owners
  • Manages ISO Policy exception requests
  • Manages the company awareness program around Information ISO Policy awareness.
  • Internal Audits
  • Assist with internal audits of supported standards
  • Perform analysis of corrective actions taken for effectiveness.
  • Policy management
  • Maintain policies to ensure compliance
  • Review policies and identify improvements and non-conformities.
  • Assist team with special assignments as needed.
Education


An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.

In the absence of a degree, directly related job experience in quality or security analysis, auditing and standards implementation will be considered.

Experience, Skills and Key Competencies

In addition to the education outlined above, the following experience, skills and competencies are required

  • Experience in an ISO certified environment is desired
  • Basic understanding of ISO 2700
  • Basic understanding of ISO 900
  • Ability to work methodically and effectively and selfmotivate to meet defined needs and goals of the team.
  • Asks questions and collaborates with others for change
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; Fluent English language speaker
  • Strong organization skills
  • Able to conduct routine tasks with little supervision
  • Ability to communicate and work cooperatively with others
Special Position Requirements

  • Travel for this position may on rare occasions require traveling to offices in other countries than your home office. Travel will occur around agreed upon schedules.
  • Able to flex work hours as needed, to complete projects that involve team members who work in different time zones.
