Job title-Sales ConsultantJob objectives
To ensure achievement of sales objectives by means of professional customer consulting and the selling of vehicles and allied services, e.g., accessories, financing, and insurance.
Main tasks
- Analysing the sales area, and market potential and keeping a track of competitor activities.
- Conducting events and building a customer base in the allocated upcountry market.
- Planning and conducting acquisition activities in the case of select target groups in the particular market area.
- Strive for at least 100% target achievement (monthly/ quarterly) as defined and communicated.
- Guide junior sales personnel in their daytoday sales activities.
- Have utmost knowledge of all product lines and respective competitor products.
- Attend morning meetings/ weekly meetings as conducted by the senior sales management.
- Creating & systematically administering customer and interested party files as well as entering ascertained & current customer data (provided CRM System, Complaint Management System, etc). Ensure and take ownership to continuously update lead management systems in place at the dealership.
- Adhere and strive towards the achievement of defined KPIs. For eg Sales, Enquiries, Test Drives, Finance penetration, Insurance penetration, Service Packages, Accessories, Self-Acquisition of enquiries, etc
- Contacting customers according to the customer care loop.
- Follow standards and processes (for eg, dress code, sales process, showroom display, etc)
- Timely followup after initial contact with the customer through the lead management systems at the dealership
- Customer need analysis:
- Clarifying the type of use
- Product/equipment
- Delivery date
- Financing/insurance
- Determining purchasing reasons
- Recording additional relevant information (e.g. hobbies)
- 6point check (including financial service offer)
- Systematically presenting the vehicle while creating a clear customer connection:
- Presenting the interior/exterior (steps of sales process)
- Statement of benefits based on the reasons for purchase
- Helping the customer to experience the vehicle with all five senses. (Create excitement about the driving experience during the test drive).
- Determining vehicle selection by active observation and questioning.
- Organising the test drive with the needbased/ (desirebased) vehicle.
- Preparation (selecting the route with different experiences, accessories/ equipment, formalities, etc).
- Checking the vehicle.
- Handing over the vehicle with short clear operating instructions.
- Taking back the vehicle with an evaluation of the test drive with the customer.
- No misuse of the test drive vehicle and take utmost care in handling the same.
- Scheduling a followup appointment, if necessary.
- Processing the evaluation of the used car:
- Initiating a technical evaluation
- Initiating a commercial evaluation
- Offer generation
- Offer preparation (including analysis of offers of the competition, if applicable)
- Product specification: Offer configuration, crossselling, statement of benefits, handling of objections.
- Offer presentation.
- Price/conditions negotiation with the inclusion of Insurance, Secure Registration, Extended Warranty, Service Package/s, Accessories, and Finance offers.
- Considering current sales promotion measures.
- Offer followup.
- Contract preparation: Contract structure, price/condition definition
- Contract signing/ order confirmation.
- Clarifying the delivery location.
- Initiating and supervising the timely & reliable processing of all correspondence in relation to the sale and financing of the delivery.
- Accepting and initiating implementation of customer change requests.
- Delivery scheduling.
- Assist in compiling necessary vehicle and customer documents.
- Assist in timely delivery and ensure maximum customer orientation and a positive customer experience.
- Arranging the transfer, explaining the vehicle, and presenting the gift.
- Information on regarding the range of services of the vehicle dealership; service colleague introduction.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process and ensuring customer gives feedback to the customer satisfaction survey.
- Processing complaints to the complete satisfaction of the customer and the company.
- Ensure followup contacts with customers on for referral purchases and maintain the customer relationship.
- Providing systematic aftersales care to create the basis for future purchases.
- Ensure customer payments are received in time before delivery.
- Taking full responsibility of showroom duty on designated days & weekend rotations.

₹12, ₹30,000.00 per month
