Description
Support the implementation of the company EHS policies and programs

  • Advise and instruct on various safetyrelated topics (like machine hazards, work permit system, tool box talks, noise levels, use of equipment, etc.)
  • Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures
  • Initiate and organize EHS training of employees and contract workers
  • Conduct EHS inspections and identify unsafe conditions and unsafe practices by employees and workers and highlight to the site management
  • Conduct accident/incident investigations as per the prescribed procedure and best practices and share information with the team
  • Identify root causes of near misses / incidents and take preventive steps
  • Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc.
  • Manage the distribution of PPE's among the employees and workers
  • Manage contract worker safety enforcement
  • Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
  • Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management
  • Coordinate with the Group Sustainability team on Group EHS practices and implement/report on the same for the site
  • Prepare weekly and monthly EHS plans and share with site management
  • Submit monthly action taken reports on the approved plan of action
  • All documentation work for government compliance to be prepared and keep safely
