Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate standard and custom Trial Monitoring reports to support Risk Based Monitoring (RBM) across the trial portfolio.
  • Prepare and maintain reportrelated documentation.
  • Participate in Trial Monitoring report meetings.

Main Job Tasks:

  • Understand stakeholder needs for Trial/Medical Monitoring and Risk Indicator reports and prepare specifications.
  • Program new and/or customize existing programs using programming languages such as SQL, PLSQL, SAS, JMP, etc., to extract and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • Generate standard and customized reports for various stakeholders, including projects, study groups, management, titration group, data review group, etc.
  • Utilize reporting platforms like QlikSense, SAS Visible Analytics, Business Objects (SAP), etc.
  • Prepare report templates using data models/mock data to facilitate timely report development.

Prepare and Maintain Report-related Documentation:

  • Prepare validation documentation and perform peer reviews of programs and reports.

Participate in Trial Monitoring Report Meetings:

  • Understand the trial-specific report requirements.
  • Provide inputs on data availability.
  • Maintain meeting minutes.
  • Follow up on action items proposed during meetings.
  • Attend adhoc meetings as required by stakeholders.

Communication and Stakeholder Interaction:

  • Collaborate with international study groups, trial squad members, medical reviewers, RBM specialists, statistical monitoring specialists, CTDMs, PDMs, CDPs, SDTM programmers, medical coders, and international medical directors (IMD)/medical specialists.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to establish reporting frameworks, including delivery frequencies, modes of delivery, and recipient groups.
  • Communicate and address technical issues related to data sources with system managers.
  • Engage in effective communication with external stakeholders, such as Contract Research Organizations (CROs).
  • Demonstrate active listening, understanding different perspectives, and respectfully handling conflicting opinions to reach agreements or convince others of new concepts, practices, and ideas.
