    The role of the Associate Managed Services Information Security Analyst involves collaborating with security tools and other security teams to monitor, analyze, interpret, and report on incoming client data. This is to provide security information and recommendations to clients, facilitating NTT in delivering contracted security services. The responsibilities include tasks like security incident detection and response, security event reporting, threat hunting, content maintenance, and liaising with clients to ensure their comprehension of the generated information, suggesting client system modifications, and addressing security-related inquiries. This position serves as an entry-level role within the Managed Services Information Security Analyst team, working under the guidance of experienced analysts in the team.

    Key Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Work as a part of the global Cyber Defence Centre (CDC) team operating 24/7 in rotational shifts.
    • Collaborate with client stakeholders and Information Security Manager (ISM) to optimize the MSSP platform and client SIEM for enhanced detection, analysis, and reporting.
    • Monitor NTT security tools to review and analyze security logs from client environments.
    • Suggest continual improvement ideas for supported security technologies to enhance NTT services, employee experience, and client satisfaction.
    • Follow standard processes and SOPs consistently to ensure uniform global service delivery while proposing enhancements to these standards.
    • Apply and document best practices, adjusting existing documentation as needed.
    • Handle security incidents from various aspects including End Point Protection, Enterprise Detection and Response tools, attack analysis, malware analysis, network and computer forensics.
    • Employ a diverse set of skills in LAN technologies, Windows and Linux operating systems, and general security infrastructure.
    • Utilize knowledge articles in incident diagnosis and resolution.
    • Conduct defined tasks to inform and monitor service delivery adherence to SLAs, maintaining relevant records.
    • Follow up on unresolved incidents until resolved.
    • Exercise critical thinking to achieve optimal outcomes for clients and NTT within service boundaries and SOPs.
    • Maintain a curious and objective approach to deliver high-quality services to clients, exceeding tool capabilities.
    • Collaborate closely with team members to share knowledge and cultivate a cohesive and efficient team environment, benefiting individuals, the business, and clients.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:

    • Work is periodically reviewed based on established procedures.
    • Receive general guidance on tasks and new assignments.
    • Acquire proficiency in implementing and monitoring SIEM or security tools.
    • Demonstrate knowledge of security architecture and various security technologies.
    • Display customer service orientation and proactive problem-solving skills.
    • Highly driven, self-organized, with great attention to detail.
    • Strong analytical and logical thinking abilities.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Team player capable of effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.

    Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

    • Degree or relevant certification in IT/Computing.
    • Security certifications like AZ-500, SC-200, Security+, CEH, CISSP, CISM, or similar certifications in networking technologies such as CCNA, JNCIA, ACCA, PCNSA, CCSA are advantageous.

    Required Experience:

    • Entry-level experience in SOC Analysis Operations.
    • Entry-level experience in using SIEM for investigations.
    • Entry-level experience in Security technologies like Firewall, IPS, IDS, Proxy, etc.
    • Entry-level experience in technical support for clients.
    • Entry-level experience in end-to-end handling of security incidents.
    • Entry-level knowledge of security concepts and their implementation.
    • Entry-level experience in configuring/managing security controls such as SIEM, Firewall, IDS/IPS, EDR, NDR, UTM, Proxy, SOAR, Honeypots, and other security tools.
    • Knowledge of log collection mechanisms like Syslog, Log files, DB API.
    • Understanding of security architecture.
    • Entry-level experience in Security Analysis or Engineering.
