Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and objectives.
Design wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that align with client branding and project goals.
Develop custom WordPress themes and layouts based on approved designs.
Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
Optimize websites for performance, usability, and search engine optimization (SEO).
Test websites across multiple browsers, devices, and platforms to ensure compatibility and responsiveness.
Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise during the development process.
Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Provide guidance and support to junior designers or developers as needed.
Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in web design, graphic design, computer science, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience as a WordPress Designer or similar role.
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles.
Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Sketch.
Extensive knowledge of WordPress themes, plugins, and customization techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites.
Experience with version control systems such as Git (preferred).
Knowledge of website security best practices and techniques (preferred).
