Job Purpose
Reporting to the VP:
Head of Marketing for Enterprise, Vi Business division, as a GM and Sr Research Manager you will play a critical role in driving consumer insights, industry data and market trends to inform product strategy and innovation.
Flexing your expertise to derive actionable insights through both qualitative and quantitative methods, you will be a trusted advisor to Sales, Marketing, and Product Developments and Business Heads for lines of business- To derive Business Intelligence from Internal and External insights
- Create and execute primary, secondary research based on Qualitative and Quantitative tools
- Create and run Governance around ViBS internal Insight module ( on Customer, Competition, Propositions and Channels/GoToMarket models)
- Feed into Strategic marketing and business planning with the marketing head, LoB Heads and CEBO
- Drive agile insights of enterprise customers and markets to discover potential for new products and propositions, and understand B2B buying behavior, motivators, influencers and needs
- Engage with partners and agencies to drive actionable insights for the organization. Own and nurture analyst and research partner relationships viz., Frost, Gartner, IDC etc and thus influence and establish
VIBS as a trusted and valued digital partner in the market
Key Result Areas/Accountabilities
- Implement all aspects of the research process including project identification, scoping, development, data collection, analysis, report design, and presentation of findings.
- Using both quantitative and qualitative methods, gather and synthesize customer, competitor, and market data, into scalable quarterly insights reports to inform the product strategy.
- Collaborate, influence, and align with stakeholders and crossfunctional teams to evaluate market opportunity and share.
- Establish a proactive schedule of applicable insights to promote understanding of external market forces, trends, technology adoption, competitive activity, and consumer needs.
- Create Research briefs and drive critical inisighting exercises externally via partners, Customer visits and internal business surveys with ViBS organization
- Do the trend analysis and Identify patterns and trends to highlight any shifts
- Monthly, Quarterly reports and insights modules timely and accurately
Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience
- Must be certified research and insights specialist with 78 years of experience in functional research
- Must possess People skills
- Must be able to multi task.
- Filter and interpret relevant business data
Must have technical / professional qualifications
