Job responsibilities

  • Communicate complex information using interaction design tools, including journey maps, storyboards, information architecture, user flows, wireframes, etc.
  • Plan and strategize a variety of design tasks to align with our product deadlines. Apply, maintain, and build upon design systems to ensure consistent designs
  • Understand and document user research findings and iterate designs based on feedback
  • Deliver wireframes, user flows, highfidelity screens, and visual assets to support the product development process
  • Create clickthrough prototypes, presentations, and videos to showcase product vision and get buyin from key stakeholders
  • Share knowledge and educate the team and the organization about our design process and best practices

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Interaction Design, User Experience (UX) Design, Service Design, Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related fields
  • 3+ years of work experience in the design field
  • An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating relevant experience
  • Proficiency in design, prototyping, and presentation software such as Figma, Adobe Suite, and Keynote
  • Experience working across multiple platforms (e.g., products, websites, mobile apps, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate abstract design concepts visually and verbally in a clear and engaging manner

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Familiarity with the Design Thinking methodology
  • Technical knowledge on HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Video editing skills (iMovie, FinalCutPro, or other video editing software)
  • Familiarity with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
