The Opportunity at Komodo Health


The Talent Acquisition & People Generalist will be a part of the People function at Komodo - which is responsible for creating a world-class team to advance Komodo's mission, fostering a lasting company where top talent thrives and nurturing a data-driven performance culture for unlocking individual and company potential.

This is a foundational hire for Komodo's People team in India.


Looking back on your first 12 months at Komodo Health, you will have

  • Hired 20+ new Dragons based in the Chennai and/or other geographical areas (including the United States) across multiple business units
  • Worked with People Leadership team to develop foundational local KPI's for recruiting, onboarding, HR related processes
  • Collaborated with the People Experience team to drive cultural synergies and operating norms across our global teams

You will accomplish these outcomes through the following responsibilities
Talent Acquisition

  • Lead endtoend recruitment efforts across multiple business units with an average requirement load of 512 positions
  • Drive the entire interview process, including job posting, interview planning, reference checks, and offer negotiations
  • Foster prioritization with hiring managers and ensure hires are in line with approved headcount, timelines, and budget
  • Utilize Greenhouse ATS system to document and track all recruiting activities realtime
HR & On-boarding

  • Ensure compliance of new hires by collaborating with People Operations team on new hire hire paperwork and background checks
  • Assist with maintaining employee personnel files for the India employees
  • Be the first line support on any questions related to benefits, pay, time off, and other HR related matters
  • Provide basic HR advice and support to employees, explaining handbook, procedures, and policies
  • Escalate all HR issues to VP, People Partners in a timely manner
  • Manage the probationary period review and send reminders to the People team and hiring managers
  • Providing administrative support for regular audits of employee files, ensuring legal compliance and adequate documentation
Office Management

  • Collaborate with the People Experience team on local hub experience and supplies
  • Maintain records, files, and documents for all officerelated operations and compliance
  • Act as a point of contact between various stakeholders including external vendors, contractors, and businesses

What you bring to Komodo Health:

  • 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting in a corporate environment (requirement qualification, sourcing, interviewing, offers, closing, and on-boarding)
  • Experience recruiting for technical and nontechnical roles
  • Prior experience reporting on recruiting KPI's pipeline, conversion rates, timetofill, offer acceptance rates
  • Experience utilizing Greenhouse applicant tracking systems (ATS) and the Google Suite / Microsoft Excel
  • Experience creating boolean searches and utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Experience recruiting for US based companies and teams that will be supporting multiple timezones
  • Prior experience managing new hire paperwork and assisting with onboarding
  • Thorough understanding of local employment laws and compliant hiring practices
  • Familiarity with general HR practices such as probationary periods, employee relations, & performance management
