Responsibilities:
Medical Assessment:
Evaluate and analyze medical situations that require escalation, considering the severity, urgency, and potential impact on patient care.
Problem Identification:
Identify and assess gaps or issues in medical management, treatment plans, or patient outcomes that necessitate escalation.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with healthcare providers, clinicians, and other relevant personnel to gather information, discuss options, and develop appropriate courses of action.
Communication:
Effectively communicate with healthcare professionals, patients, and their families to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure understanding of the escalation process.
Documentation:
Accurately document all medical escalations, actions taken, and decisions made in compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Research and Analysis:
Stay updated on medical advancements, guidelines, and best practices to inform decision-making during medical escalations.
Decision-Making:
Make informed and timely decisions based on available information and medical expertise, ensuring the best possible outcome for the patient.
Risk Management:
Assess potential risks associated with medical escalations and implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure patient safety.
Quality Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development and implementation of policies and protocols related to medical escalation.
Training and Education:
Provide education and training to healthcare staff on medical escalation protocols, best practices, and communication strategies.
Qualifications:
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Bsc, B pharma, Medicine, or a related healthcare field is typically required. A higher degree (e.g., Master's) is a plus.
Clinical Experience:
Prior experience in a clinical setting, such as nursing or medical practice, is essential to understand and assess complex medical situations effectively.
Salary:
₹18, ₹23,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Pharma: 1 year (preferred)
