    Manager / Senior Manager - Electronics Sourcing & Component Engineering

    Key Responsibilities:
    Establish a Pool of Suppliers for all electronics categories and collaborate closely with the Category leader.
    Drive cost reduction in electronics through alternate sourcing, negotiation, and specification improvements, ensuring timely product launches at optimal prices.
    Lead assessments of new suppliers in coordination with Design, Quality, and Purchasing teams, overseeing supplier selection and onboarding processes.
    Support design in new product development through early supplier engagement and adherence to APQP & PPAP development methodologies.
    Mitigate purchasing risks, including single-source dependencies, long lead time items, critical part capacity enhancements, and supply chain improvements.
    Possess a thorough understanding of cost structures for various categories such as PCBA Assembly, electromechanical parts, and electronics sourcing.
    Demonstrate proficiency in electronics parts data sheets/specifications and collaborate closely with the Design team to suggest alternatives.
    Have significant exposure to electronics supplier bases in China, Taiwan, and other global regions.

    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering.
    Minimum 5 years of experience in Electronics sourcing roles.
    Strong proficiency in supplier assessment and supplier development/improvement.
    Exposure to sourcing, Part Development, and Quality Management.
    Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Group of 4-5 Professionals) and closely coordinate with Category Head/Project Manager.
    Familiarity with six sigma/problem-solving tools is preferred.
