Senior FSCM PeopleSoft Developer

Education and Certification :

Required : University degree in information technology or related

Desirable : Oracle PeopleSoft related certification

Skills Set :

Required :

- Extensive technical knowledge working with Oracle PeopleSoft FSCM modules and their integration with third party systems using web services.

- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English.

Desirable :

- Good knowledge of PeopleTools, PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM), Oracle databases, SQL and Oracle BIP.

- Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.

- Strong written and oral communication skills.

- Strong interpersonal skills.

- Customer service skills an asset.

- Ability to concurrently manage multiple technical projects for different clients.

- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute technical tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.

Experience :

Required :

At least seven years of significant professional technical experience, which includes several or all of the following areas :

- Technical project analysis and specification;

- Technical software development and deployment;

- User acceptance testing & facilitation;

- Technical software maintenance;

- Technical documentation;

- End user training.

Experience :

At least seven years extensive technical experience working with PeopleSoft FSCM modules: Bills, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Procurement, Commitment and their integration with third party applications using web services.

Desirable : Experience within an international organization

Objective of the assignment :

The main role of the resources will be to act as a technical expert providing support on :

- PeopleSoft FSCM module solutions, including Bills, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Procurement, Commitment and their integration with third party applications using web services.

- The maintenance of existing modules and functionalities and development of new ones, based on business requirements, system monitoring.

- Develop and maintain interfaces with other systems, PeopleSoft upgrades, assistance with underlying architecture and software upgrades

Tasks :

Deliver and fine-tune interfaces from/to PeopleSoft and provide related documentation for further operational support

Provide software development expertise for the implementation of the following projects :

Financials (FSCM) :

a. The Revenue Management project;

b. The PCT Fee Transfer Service project;

c. DB links removal project;

d. Current Account Redesign project;

e. Travel Administration Management (TAM) system;

f. Procure to Pay business process: and,

g. Integration of the CRM solution with AIMS FSCM

Resolve L2/L3 incidents assigned to the team

Implement change requests, raised and approved through monthly release cycle, and provide design documents, technical solution, test cases and any other relevant documentation.

Support the business during the implementation and follow-up production support

Prepare clear and sufficiently detailed Technical / Functional documentation for the developments, such that they can be utilized for subsequent support purposes and as a key technical reference for future development.

Knowledge Transfer to the team who must be adequately informed about the design, the reasons for decisions made, risks/issues with the design and deliverables, and the operation and support of the deliverables.

Perform unit and integrated testing of developed objects.

Participate in successful user acceptance test and signoff by focal point

Deliverables :

Prepare and deliver necessary functional design, solution prototypes, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), testing and training documentation and final solution, in support of assigned change requests and projects

Perform any other hands on techno-functional work (configuration, queries/reports, data extracts etc.) in support of above initiatives
