We seek an accounting postgraduate with prior accounting experience. You should have Strong Accounting Knowledge in Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Intercompany and Month end closing and reporting._

Responsibilities_
In this role, you will be responsible for all the activities related to_

- _Preparation and upload of Journals at the end of the month after analysis of account_
- _Preparation & review of month end close tasks as per the monthly close calendar._
- _Execute internal controls and checks as part of the process and Performing task with accuracy and timelines._
- _Preparation and review of Intercompany reconciliations and do vital follow-ups with relevant team to get variances resolved._
- _Daily bank reconciliations and clearing. Identify open items and take it up with relevant Team to get closure before month end to ensure no open items after the closing._
- _Cash Management ensuring ODS and RGTS is done to the external/internal client in a timely manner._
- _Perform regulatory and statutory reporting tasks which includes preparation of Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash flow statement and Notes to accounts._
- _Fixed Asset - creation/disposal & Depreciation Run in the Fixed asset subledger._

Qualifications we seek in you_
Minimum Qualifications_

- _CPA equivalent/Chartered Accountant /Postgraduate in (Finance) Commerce or Accounting_
- _Relevant work experience preferably in Insurance industry_

Preferred Qualifications_

- _Good MS Office skills, especially MS excel._
- _Good verbal and written communication_
- _Excellent Accounting Knowledge_
- _Experience in General accounting (R2R function)_
- _Technology skills

ERP knowledge preferred._
