    Designation: Research Analyst

    Job description : -

    You will be working on custom market research projects as an individual or as a part of a larger team and will be reporting to a Research Lead/Manager. The following skills are required:

    • Analytical Skills: A market research analyst must be adept at analyzing data. This includes both quantitative and qualitative data.
    • Research Methodology: Proficiency in various research methods, including primary (surveys, interviews) and secondary (data analysis, literature review) research, is essential. Understanding when and how to use each method is crucial.
    • Data Interpretation and Presentation: The ability to extract meaningful insights from raw

    data is vital. Analyzing and interpreting research findings to identify market trends, drivers,

    challenges, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape.

    Generate reports and presentations based on research findings. Proficiency in PPT is a must.

    • Communication Skills: Analysts need to communicate their findings clearly to stakeholders. Whether through written reports or presentations, effective communication is key.
    • Attention to Detail: Accuracy matters in market research. Paying attention to details ensures reliable results.
    • Teamwork: While some projects may involve individual work, collaboration with cross-functional teams is common. Being a team player is essential.
    • Problem-solving: Market research often involves addressing specific business challenges. Analysts should be able to propose solutions based on their findings.
    • Curiosity and Adaptability: A curious mindset drives effective research. Additionally, the ability to adapt to changing market dynamics is crucial.

    Experience:

    • At least 2 years of experience in market research, including primary and secondary research
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data effectively
    • Proficiency with MS Office (PPT, Excel, and Word), Google, LinkedIn, etc., and other relevant secondary research tools. Work experience on databases such as Factiva, D&B Hoovers, and Marklines would be an added benefit
    • Work closely with Research Leads/Manager to accomplish deliverables
    • Should have good verbal and writing skills (mandatory)
    • A deep understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior
    • Preferably has a technical background (B.E./ B. Tech.) along with an MBA
    • This will be a hybrid role (2-3 days WFO) to start with. The candidate must relocate to Bangalore if offer is accepted
