    Description

    Key Responsibilities:


    • Technically Lead design and development and validation of electronics hardware.


    • Responsible for technical development within the project with respect to customer

    requirements, commonly used standards and requirements regarding quality and cost


    • Should have experience of technically leading a team of minimum 5 hardware engineers.


    • Should have ability to influence and drive people / activities on complex technical issues.


    • Planning and coordination of Hardware functional, environmental, EMI-EMC, Hardware

    Integration, and customer related tests


    • Monitors progress and achievements on projects. Provide regular reports on

    development and support activities.


    • Develop re-usable components and looks for continuous improvement opportunities in

    mobile products. Share knowledge within the team and demonstrates flexibility working

    in parallel on multiple assignments/product categories.


    • Collaborate with local / global suppliers for prototype developments, external labs for

    testing etc.


    • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

    Qualifications & Skills/Competencies required:


    • Bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics / Electronics and Communication / Electrical

    Engineering.


    • Extensive experience of full Hardware development life cycle including requirements

    management, design, development, verification & validation, qualification & certification

    testing


    • Should have hands on experience on hardware architecture design, feature &

    performance specifications, 16/32-bit Microcontrollers based designs.


    • Should have experience in Analog, Digital, Signal electronics (0 to 15V etc).


    • Should have hands on experience in Linear, SMPS, signal conditioning and driver circuit

    design & testing.


    • Strong knowledge of EMI / EMC certification and environmental compliances – CE,

    e/E markings process.


    • Good Knowledge of IEC, CISPR, ISO, SAE standards.


    • Hands on experience on various Communication protocols— CAN, RS232, SPI, I2C,

    Ethernet, wireless etc.


    • Good knowledge on PCB design guidelines for SI, high speed design & EMI/EMC.


    • Knowledge on Design for functional safety (IEC 61508), PCB Designing, Component

    engineering, EMI/EMC testing/simulation, power electronics will be an advantage.


    • Good working experience on analog and digital hardware design, circuit simulations

    using PSpice & LTspice tools along with Polarion (or equivalent), DOORS, EDA tools.

    Classified as Business
    • Should be able to analyse the analog & digital Circuits for Functional, performing FMEA's,

    Stress, Derating, Worst-case & Tolerance analysis.


    • Should have experience in building prototypes in house or from external suppliers.


    • Automotive background with Power electronics, ISO26262 with Polarion tool is

    added advantage.


    • Hands on experience on functional testing & debugging of any complex hardware.


    • Hands on experience in writing detailed test plan/procedures, Qualification test

    procedures.


    • Hands on experience on various testing's for Conducted Emissions / Immunity, Radiated

    Emissions / Immunity, Environmental Testing.


    • Hands on test equipment's like CRO, Function Generator, Spectrum Analyzer, Logic

    Analyzer, Thermal Chambers etc.


    • Proven track record within product development, quality assurance, reliability engineering

    and robust design


    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail


    • Experience with cross cultural teams in multiple location
