    Job Summary:
    Electrical Component

    qualification testing (Evaluation, Characterization, Life test etc.)Plastic Package Qualification, Die testing.
    Defining Component test plans, procedures and creating test setup

    (Hardware

    and Software)Handling Electrical Lab InstrumentComponent Data ManagementAlternate Suggestion and PCN (Product Change Notice) impact analysisAnalyze BOMs of tools for RoHS, WEEE ComplianceLife Cycle Analysis of Electronic, Electrical and Electromechanical components


    Job Responsibilities:
    Electronic Component TestingElectronic Component Qualification.
    Electronic Hardware R&DElectronic Hardware Failure Analysis.
    Electronic Hardware Repairing.
    Electronic Hardware TestingElectrical Component Qualification

    (Evaluation, Characterization, Life test etc.)Writing test plans, procedures and creating test setupTesting Electronic Component based on technical attribute as per different test condition.
    Investigation of test results with different Cross functional team to validate the component operation as per design.

    Creating reports and presenting findings to management or engineering teamsOperating electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters to measure voltage, current, resistance, and other parameters.

    Component Data Management in

    PLM ToolPerforming research and development on new componentsAnalyze

    Electrical and Electronics components and sub-assemblies

    for Obsolescence, RoHS and WEEE status.
    Analyze impact of

    PCN changes to FFF (Form Fit Function)

    of the componentAlternate component suggestion like

    drop-in replacements, upgraded versions, RoHS equivalent parts for RoHS Non-Compliant EE parts

    etc.
    Understand and adhere strictly to company policies, standards, and procedures.


    Academic Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in

    Electrical

    or

    Electronics Engineering

    Experience:4+ years' experience

    in an

    electrical engineering role


    Skills Required:

    • Key Skills:
    • In depth knowledge about
    Electronic Component Technical Properties & ApplicationExperience with circuit board assembly and soldering is good to haveWorking knowledge of

    EMC standards

    and electronic complianceFamiliarity with

    IPC standards

    for electronics manufacturingCircuit simulation knowledge is must and Component modeling is good to haveKnowledge of Component Failure modesComponent Data ManagementGood knowledge and understanding of electronic component datasheetsGood knowledge of Handling

    Different Lab Instrument like Oscilloscope, Function, DMM (Digital Multi Meter), Function Generator

    etc.
    Basic knowledge of EE component manufacturersBasic knowledge of

    Environmental Compliance directives RoHS (restriction of Hazardous Substances)

    and

    WEEE (Waste of Electronic and Electrical Equipment)Knowledge of Electronic Component Life Cycle trendsKnowledge of English with good oral and written communication skills

    Soft skills:

    This is an office-based position, with the expectation to come in four days a week.
