Job Title:
Institutional Sales - Financial Services - Mumbai
Client Acquisition and Relationship Building:
Acquire new clients (FIIs/Domestic FIs) and build the Institutional client base for Institutional Brokerage business.
Identify, convert & develop successful business relationships with Banks, FIIs, Mutual Funds, Insurance Companies, Pension Funds, & other Institutional Investor segments for Equity sales.
Prepare and execute a sales plan for the assigned relationship accounts.Interact with Institutional clients i.e. MFs, Insurance Cos, Banks, FIIs for regular business.
Coordinate meetings between research teams with various kinds of institutions and corporates.
Arrange road shows and conferences for clients with corporates/experts.
Business Management and Expansion
Responsible for overall Institutional Business and handling and expanding portfolios of clients for Institutional Equity.
Develop and maintain a long-term relationship with institutional clients.
Maintain cordial relationships with Dealers, HODs, Fund managers and coordinate with the research team for trading fundamental calls.
Coordinating with the research team and advising clients regarding the same.
To develop the business and generate revenue.
Provide timely progress reports to management and maintain records of clients.
Client Engagement and Requirements Understanding
Meeting clients on a regular basis to understand their requirements.
Coordinating meet-ups between research teams and various institutions and corporate clients.
Key Skills:
Mandatory: 3 to 5 years in business development of acquiring institutional clients.
