Responsibilities may include:

Execute the deal once trader fixes the cargo with the supplier and the customer
Manage the documentation, letter of credit, prepayments and other related process with concerned parties like supplier, customer and vendors
Coordinate with the supplier and customer for the requirements pertaining to the trade and for smooth vessel loading & discharging operations
Arrange necessary cargo loading instructions for the ship Owners through the brokers
Coordinate with the Chartering team
Appointing reputed international surveyors for the survey of the vessel tanks before loading to ensure tanks are cleaned to load nominated cargo
Ensure that the import & export processes of the products traded are followed as per prevailing rules and regulations of the particular country where cargo is being traded
Look for the ways to improve the processes, maximize performance & reduce cost
Coordinate with various departments internally for the quick and hassle free execution of the deal related requirements like LC issuance, credit line arrangements, prepayment, payments etc. And to understand the financial, credit & compliance requirements related to individual trades
Negotiate rates with third party logistics & inspection service providers & vendors
Communicate with the local & international teams according to requirement of process
Develop & manage relationships with key suppliers, customers & service providers to ensure effective execution of physical bulk & containerized trade execution
Upon completion of the deal update demurrage team with all necessary information
Most importantly immediately update and maintain accurate data in system as per company policy and update the stake holders with reports upon completion of the particular traders

Desired Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree and proficient in MS office
23 years of work experience in supply chain/Logistics operations of Bulk Liquid Chemicals.

Preferred:

Basic understanding of global tradingliquid bulk will be added advantage
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize workload to meet requests on a short notice
Strong analytical skills
Having knowledge on International Trade and Chartering of Bulk liquid Chemical vessels.
