Job Description: 3D Animator

Position Overview:

Responsibilities:

Create highquality 3D animations using industrystandard software and tools.
Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements, artistic vision, and animation goals.
Develop storyboards, concept art, and animatics to plan and visualize animation sequences.
Rig and animate characters, objects, and environments, ensuring smooth and realistic movement.
Implement motion capture data when applicable and modify animations to fit the desired artistic style.
Add visual effects and postproduction touches to enhance the overall animation quality.
Collaborate with the art and design team to ensure consistency in style, color, and overall visual aesthetic.
Optimize animations for various platforms and technical specifications.
Incorporate feedback from the creative team and make necessary revisions to achieve the desired animation quality.
Stay updated with industry trends, new animation techniques, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

Proven work experience as a 3D Animator or a similar role.
Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe Animate, Autodesk Maya, Blender, or Cinema 4D.
Strong understanding of animation principles, including timing, weight, anticipation, and squash and stretch.
Knowledge of character rigging, character animation, and lipsyncing techniques.
Familiarity with motion capture technology and its integration into animation workflows.
Strong artistic and storytelling skills to bring characters and environments to life.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently to meet project deadlines.
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with the creative team and incorporate feedback.
A portfolio showcasing your animation skills, including examples of 3D animations you have created.
