Mission of the function:
- Responsible for developing and implementing the strategy for realizing the Business Unit's vision of enhancing Reach and Market Share in low voltage switchgear of SINOVA EP products.
- To explore unidentified markets and sectors for profitable growth.
- Create an ecosystem of customers and partners to drive the roadmap to support the above mission.
Job profile:
- Develop the strategy for Sinova Products including defining the gotomarket, roadmap regional strategy e.g. partners' appointments, focus segment conversions like (Public Utilities etc.)
- Contribute in defining the critical inputs for the distributor policy
- Achievement of sales targets from the assigned area.
- Monitoring of business KPIs like OV, Revenue, Partner monitoring and development.
- Define, develop and implement various programs for Sales Promotional activities.
- Network Expansion: Jointly (along with the team) develop the Partner ecosystem including primary (Distributor) and Secondary (resellers) channels.
- Work jointly with sales offices to generate new business opportunities and enhance share of wallet from Panel Builders, EPC. Contractors etc.
How do I qualify for this job?
- Graduate with an engineering background with min 8 10 years' experience in handling Electrical Products (e.g. MCCBs, Air Circuit Breakers, contactors etc.) preferably in the Distribution business
- Channel Management Expertise in online and offline sales will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of LV Switchgear Controlgear and Powergear is mandatory.
- Applicants with local geographical knowhow including markets, distribution, and buying behavior will be preferred.
- Ability to think through and strategize, understand implications of decisions in the shortterm and longterm and act accordingly. Ability to conceptualize ideas and drawup business plans.
- Knowledge of Distribution Market, CRM skills, Key Customers, and Competitors, identify major trends. Good understanding of the Distributor Networks and their psyche. Understand key success factors in the Distribution market (Promotional Schemes etc.)
- Should have demonstrated strong planning and execution skills, ability to lead from the front, mentor and coach team members to achieve desired goals.
- Basic commercial knowledge is a must
- Have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Should be motivated to work independently with accountability.
- Work with teams from diverse cultural backgrounds.
