    Description

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Android App Developer with over 7 years of experience to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Android App Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver innovative mobile solutions.

    Responsibilities :

    • Design and develop advanced Android applications from scratch using Kotlin or Java.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
    • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
    • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
    • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
    • Work with external data sources and APIs.
    • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
    • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
    • Mentor junior developers and contribute to the overall growth of the team.
    • Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in Android development.
    Skills and Qualifications :
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • 7+ years of professional Android development experience.
    • Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
    • Strong understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
    • Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON to connect Android applications to back-end services.
    • Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
    • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
    • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
    • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing is a plus.
    • Published one or more Android apps in the Google Play Store is a plus.
