    Description

    Responsibilities :

    • Design , Build and implement complex, largescale applications capable of integrating with multiple internal/external systems
    • Engage in and lead development efforts across the full SDLC from design and coding through to test, build, QA, deployment, and maintenance
    • Leverage your experience with cloud infrastructure to build cloudbased software solutions and support the migration of applications to the cloud
    • Mentor a team of software developers to build quality software solutions aligned to architecture guidelines
    • Strategize and support the migration of applications to serverless architecture solutions
    • Build applications capable of processing large sets of data using Spring Batch Framework with logging capabilities via the ELK stack
    • Partner with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into consumable technical stories and software solutions

    Functional Competencies :

    • Able to provide technical excellence while embracing flexibility over building "bulletproof" systems
    • Passionate learner who keeps up with evolving technologies and is willing to experiment to test what would work for the business
    • Experience in or willingness to learn Agile methodology and working in a cross functional team

    Technical Competencies :

    • Handson, fullstack development experience building endtoend software applications utilizing the Microsoft technology stack: C#, .Net Core, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, XML, XSLT, Entity Framework, LINQ, Microservices, Single Page Applications in Angular, TFS, GIT, and AppDynamics
    • Insurance background required experience in implementing Commercial Lines platform/systems integration with Duck Creek, Insurity or similar policy admin systems is preferred
    • Deep understanding of SQL Server and Cosmos DB, including database design models, database performance optimization and the ability to develop and maintain PL/SQL Packages, Stored Procedures, Triggers, and Functions in SQL Server
    • Demonstrated experience developing REST based APIs using Microservice architecture, Open API Specification and/or creating specifications w/Swagger
    • Knowledge of messaging queue tools such as MQ and Kafka
    • Experience in containerizing applications using Docker & Kubernetes
    • Previous experience with cloud solutions (Azure preferred) along with experience configuring DevOps/continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Git, Jenkins and/or Maven
